The breasts play an important role in defining the female sensuality. They are an expression of eroticism, beauty, and, just as important, self-confidence.

Many women are not completely satisfied with the appearance of their breasts. Whether your breasts never fully developed or changed due to pregnancy, weight fluctuations, or simply from the toll of time and gravity, there is a way to change that.

If you would like to have larger and more shapely breasts, then breast augmentation by Dr. Hubmann is the right choice for you.

Also, some women have asymmetrically developed breasts. They too can be helped, with adaptive breast surgery using an implant, along with breast lift surgery as needed.

Breast augmentation surgery can be performed using fat transfer (meaning that fat is removed from another part of the body and then inserted into the breast) or using special breast implants.

Women who wish for discrete enlargement of their breasts with minimally invasive surgery will benefit from fat transfer. This procedure can also be used to balance out certain asymmetries.

If you prefer a substantially fuller bustline that is still natural, Dr. Hubmann recommends breast implants.

The two techniques can be combined, both for initial breast augmentation procedures and for women who have had previous surgery.

Duration of treatment: 1-2 hours for both breasts

During the personalized consultation, you will learn which method or combination of them can achieve the best results for you and Dr. Hubmann will develop an individual treatment plan based on his ABSOLUTELY YOU concept.

Frequently asked Questions

  • Where is the implant inserted during breast augmentation surgery?

A breast implant can be placed either below the mammary gland on the chest muscle (subglandular breast augmentation) or in a cavity specially created below the chest muscle (submuscular breast augmentation). The best option for you depends on various factors. Very thin, lean women with small breasts can achieve a natural shape with submuscular breast augmentation. Women who wish to enlarge fully developed breasts may achieve the desired shape through subglandular breast augmentation.

  • What shapes do the implants have?

Dr. Hubmann uses only top-quality implants manufactured in Europe. Implants vary in shape (anatomical/round), size, surface (smooth/textured), profiles (extra high/low), and other characteristics. In your in-depth consultation with Dr. Hubmann, which will include a live demonstration, you will discuss which implant best fits you and your goals.

  • What rules should I follow after breast augmentation surgery?

You should wear a special support bra for six weeks after breast augmentation surgery to promote healing. During this period, you should avoid abrupt movements and strain on your upper body, as these can negatively impact the position of the breast implant. Dr. Hubmann also recommends that you sleep on your back and not on your side in the first 10 postoperative days. Scar care recommendations are presented below.

  • When should I plan breast augmentation surgery in relation to pregnancy and breastfeeding?

If you plan to breastfeed after breast augmentation surgery, it is preferable to place the incision in the crease below the breast rather than directly at the nipple. This ensures that the connection between the mammary gland and the nipple will not be compromised. With this breast augmentation method, normal breastfeeding is nearly always possible. However, you should not plan breast augmentation surgery 6 to 12 months before or after pregnancy

  • Can breast augmentation surgery be combined with other procedures?

Breast augmentation surgery can easily be combined with other procedures during the same operation. These may include procedures around the eye, on the abdomen, or on other parts of the body. Please do not hesitate to discuss your goals with Dr. Hubmann during your consultation.

  • Will I experience pain after breast augmentation surgery?

Pain can occur during the days following breast augmentation surgery. However, during your stay with us, Dr. Hubmann will manage your pain and he will prescribe appropriate pain medication for your recovery at home.

  • Will I have visible scars after breast augmentation surgery?

The amount of scarring that occurs after surgery varies widely from patient to patient. For breast augmentation surgery, the incision can be placed either at the lower edge of the nipple (areola) or in the crease under the breast. In both cases, the short and very finely sutured incision usually heals so well that it is barely visible to the naked eye. We recommend that you regularly apply fat-containing cream or silicon-containing scar gel to the scar starting on the 15th day after surgery. In addition, during the first 6 to 12 months after surgery, you should consistently protect scars from the sun by wearing sun protective clothing or applying sunscreen with SPF of at least 50. This will promote fading of the scars and reduce the risk of scar tissue proliferation.

  • Are the results of breast augmentation surgery permanent?

Your enlarged breasts continue to be subject to normal changes of the body. This means that your breasts may drop slightly over time, and the implants may shift. Dr. Hubmann’s in-depth knowledge of the anatomy of the breast and his state-of-the-art surgical techniques help offset this effect.
